yathagadam veeryatamam upayuktam yadrichchaya
ajanatopy-atmagunam kuryan mantropy-udahritah
यथागदं वीर्यतममुपयुक्तं यदृच्छया।
अजानतोऽप्यात्मगुणं कुर्यान्मन्त्रोऽप्युदाहृतः॥
A powerful medicine works even if taken by chance by someone who does not know its effect. In the same way, a sacred mantra works even when spoken without knowing its power.

एक असरदार दवा अनजाने में ली जाए तब भी अपना असर दिखाती है, चाहे लेने वाला उसका गुण न जानता हो। उसी तरह पवित्र मंत्र भी उसकी शक्ति जाने बिना बोलने पर असर करता है।
शुरुआत के लिए विशेषज्ञ होना ज़रूरी नहीं। अच्छा अभ्यास अभी शुरू कीजिए; समझ अक्सर बाद में आती है, जब दवा पहले ही असर करने लगी होती है।
