Srimad Bhagavatam 6.2.18 meaning

ajnanad athava jnanad uttamashlokanama yat sankeertitam agham punso dahed edho yathanalah

Whether spoken knowingly or unknowingly, the name of the Lord, when chanted, burns up a person's wrongdoing, just as fire burns firewood.

What it means
Some good things work even before you fully understand them. Repeating a sacred name, a prayer or a kind thought slowly reshapes you, whether or not you feel it working.

Spoken by Vishnu's messengers.
