Srimad Bhagavatam 6.1.14 meaning

dehavagbuddhijam dheera dharmajnah shraddhayanvitah kshipanty-agham mahad api venugulmam ivanalah

Wise people who know dharma and are full of faith burn away even great wrongs done by body, speech and mind, just as fire burns down a thicket of bamboo.

What it means
No mistake is too big to move past. With honest effort, steady habits and faith, the weight of old wrongs can be burned away, and you can begin again clean.
