People are blind to their own true good. Driven by endless desire, they chase wealth, make enemies of one another for a tiny bit of pleasure, and in their confusion do not see the endless sorrow it brings.
What it means
How often do we fight people over small gains and pay with lasting bitterness? Before entering a conflict, ask whether the prize is worth the peace you will lose.
Spoken by Rishabha.
