My sons, this human body is not meant for chasing hard-won pleasures that even pigs and dogs enjoy. It is meant for divine discipline, which purifies the heart and brings the endless joy of Brahman.
What it means
King Rishabha tells his children that human life offers more than basic pleasures. We have a rare chance to grow inward. Don't spend a precious life only chasing what any creature could have.
Spoken by Rishabha.
