rahoogan-aitat tapasa na yati na ch-ejyaya nirvapanad grihad va
na chchandasa n-aiva jalagnisooryair vina mahatpadarajobhishekam
रहूगणैतत्तपसा न याति न चेज्यया निर्वपणाद्गृहाद्वा।
न च्छन्दसा नैव जलाग्निसूर्यैर्विना महत्पादरजोऽभिषेकम्॥
Rahugana, this truth is not reached by austerity, rituals, charity, running a household, studying the Vedas, or worshipping water, fire and sun, unless one is bathed in the dust of the feet of great souls.
