Srimad Bhagavatam · Skandha 4
Srimad Bhagavatam 4.8.36 meaning
athapi mevineetasya kshattram ghoram upeyushah
suruchya durvachobanair na bhinne shrayate hridi
Even so, I am undisciplined and have the fierce temper of a warrior. My heart, pierced by Suruchi's arrow-like words, cannot accept this advice.
What it means
Little Dhruva is honest: he knows calm advice is wise, but his hurt is too fresh. Admitting where you really are emotionally is better than pretending to be at peace.
Spoken by Dhruva.
