atishtha tat tata vimatsaras tvam uktam samatr-api yad avyaleekam
aradhay-adhokshajapadapadmam yad-eechchasedhyasanam uttamo yatha
आतिष्ठ तत्तात विमत्सरस्त्वमुक्तं समात्रापि यदव्यलीकम्।
आराधयाधोक्षजपादपद्मं यदीच्छसेऽध्यासनमुत्तमो यथा॥
So, my child, give up envy and follow what your stepmother said, for it was true. If you want a seat as high as Uttama's, worship the lotus feet of the Lord.

एक समझदार माँ बेटे के दर्द को कड़वाहट के बिना प्रेरणा में बदलती है। प्रतिद्वंद्वियों से लड़ने के बजाय ऊँचा लक्ष्य रखो। ईर्ष्या ऊर्जा बर्बाद करती है, आकांक्षा उसे दिशा देती है।
