krichchro mahan iha bhavarnavam aplavesham shadvarganakram asukhena titeershanti
tat tvam harer bhagavato bhajaneeyam anghrim kritv-odupam vyasanam uttara dustar-arnam
कृच्छ्रो महानिह भवार्णवमप्लवेशां षड्वर्गनक्रमसुखेन तितीर्षन्ति।
तत्त्वं हरेर्भगवतो भजनीयमङ्घ्रिं कृत्वोडुपं व्यसनमुत्तर दुस्तरार्णम्॥
It is very hard for those without a boat to cross this ocean of worldly life, full of the six crocodiles of the senses and mind. So make the Lord's worshipful feet your raft and cross this difficult ocean of troubles.

जिनके पास नाव नहीं, उनके लिए इंद्रियों और मन रूपी छह मगरमच्छों से भरे इस संसार-सागर को पार करना बहुत कठिन है। इसलिए भगवान के पूजनीय चरणों को नाव बनाकर इस कठिन सागर को पार करो।
केवल इच्छाशक्ति से जीवन के ख़तरों का सामना थका देता है। एक नाव खोजिए: आस्था, मूल्य, समुदाय या साधना। कुछ थामने को हो तो कठिन लहरें भी पार हो जाती हैं।
