Srimad Bhagavatam 12.5.2 meaning

tvam tu rajan marishy-eti pashubuddhim imam jahi na jatah prag abhootodya dehavat tvam na nankshyasi

But you, O King, give up this animal-like thought, 'I am going to die.' You were not born at some point having not existed before, and you will not perish like the body.

What it means
Shuka's final teaching to King Parikshit, who has seven days to live: you are more than the body. Seeing yourself as the deathless Self removes the deepest fear of all.

Spoken by Shuka.
