Srimad Bhagavatam 12.3.52 meaning

krite yad dhyayato vishnum tretayam yajato makhaih dvapare paricharyayam kalau tad dharikeertanat

What was gained in the Satya age by meditating on Vishnu, in the Treta age by sacrifices, and in the Dvapara age by worship, is gained in the Kali age by singing the name of Hari.

What it means
Each age has its own fitting path. In our busy, distracted times, something as simple as singing or remembering a sacred name can be enough.
