Srimad Bhagavatam 11.7.43 meaning

tejobannamayair bhavair meghadyair vayun-eritaih na sprishyate nabhas tadvat kalasrishtair gunaih puman

Clouds and other things made of fire, water and earth are driven through the sky by the wind, yet the sky itself is never touched by them. In the same way, a person's true self is not touched by the qualities that time creates.

What it means
Moods, events and emotions drift through you like clouds through the sky. They come and go, but the open space of your awareness remains untouched. You are the sky, not the weather.

Spoken by Avadhuta.
