Srimad Bhagavatam 11.2.41 meaning

kham vayum agnim salilam maheem cha jyoteenshi sattvani disho drum-adeen saritsamudransh cha hareh shareeram yat kim cha bhootam pranamed ananyah

Sky, air, fire, water, earth, the stars, all living beings, the directions, trees, rivers and oceans: whatever exists is the body of Hari. A devotee should bow to all of it with an undivided heart.

What it means
If the whole world is sacred, then every tree, river and person deserves respect. Seeing the divine everywhere naturally makes us gentler with nature and with each other.
