Srimad Bhagavatam 11.2.37 meaning

bhayam dviteey-abhiniveshatah syad eeshad apetasya viparyayosmritih tanmayay-ato budha abhajet tam bhakty-aikay-esham gurudevat-atma

Fear arises from being absorbed in something seen as separate. Turned away from the Lord, one forgets one's true self and mistakes the body for it. So the wise worship the Lord with single-minded devotion, seeing the teacher as God and as their own self.

What it means
Fear grows when we feel cut off and alone. Reconnecting with the divine, often through a trusted teacher, restores a sense of belonging, and with it, fearlessness.
