Srimad Bhagavatam 11.11.6 meaning

suparnav etau sadrishau sakhayau yadrichchay-aitau kritaneedau cha vrikshe ekas tayoh khadati pippal-annam anyo nirannopi balena bhooyan

Two birds, alike and friends, have by chance made a nest in the same tree. One of them eats the fruit of the tree; the other eats nothing, yet is the stronger of the two.

What it means
One part of us is busy tasting life's sweet and bitter fruits; another simply watches, calm and strong. Learning to rest as the witness gives strength that no experience can take away.

Spoken by Krishna.
