Srimad Bhagavatam 11.10.26 meaning
tavat sa modate svarge yavat punyam samapyate
ksheenapunyah pataty-arvag anichchan kalachalitah
तावत्स मोदते स्वर्गे यावत्पुण्यं समाप्यते।
क्षीणपुण्यः पतत्यर्वागनिच्छन्कालचालितः॥
He enjoys heaven only as long as his good merit lasts. When the merit runs out, he falls back down against his will, pushed by time.

Even the best rewards run out. Success, comfort and status are like a bank balance that keeps getting spent. Lasting peace needs something deeper than earned rewards.हिंदी में अर्थ
वह स्वर्ग में तभी तक आनंद करता है जब तक उसका पुण्य बचा है। पुण्य खत्म होते ही वह न चाहते हुए भी समय के धक्के से नीचे गिर जाता है।
सबसे अच्छे इनाम भी खत्म हो जाते हैं। सफलता, आराम और प्रतिष्ठा बैंक बैलेंस की तरह खर्च होते रहते हैं। स्थायी शांति के लिए कमाए हुए इनामों से गहरा कुछ चाहिए।
