Srimad Bhagavatam 10.3.25 meaning

nashte loke dviparardh-avasane mahabhooteshv adibhootam gateshu vyaktevyaktam kalavegena yate bhavan ekah shishyatesheshasanjnah

When the worlds are destroyed at the end of Brahma's lifetime, when the great elements merge back into their source, and the visible dissolves into the invisible under the force of time, you alone remain. That is why you are called Shesha, the one who is left.

What it means
Everything we see will one day dissolve, even the universe. Yet something remains beyond all change. Connecting with that unchanging reality gives a deep calm that no loss can shake.

Spoken by Devaki.
