Srimad Bhagavatam 10.14.25 meaning

atmanam ev-atmatay-avijanatam ten-aiva jatam nikhilam prapanchitam jnanena bhooyopi cha tat praleeyate rajjvam aher bhogabhav-abhavau yatha

For those who do not know the self as the self, this whole world appears from that ignorance. With knowledge it dissolves again, just as a snake seen in a rope appears and disappears.

What it means
Many fears are like a rope mistaken for a snake in dim light. Bring the lamp of understanding, and the panic dissolves on its own.

Spoken by Brahma.
