Srimad Bhagavatam 1.5.4 meaning
jijnasitam adheetam cha brahma yat tat sanatanam
tathapi shochasy-atmanam akritartha iva prabho
जिज्ञासितमधीतं च ब्रह्म यत्तत्सनातनम्।
तथापि शोचस्यात्मानमकृतार्थ इव प्रभो॥
You have explored and studied the eternal Brahman thoroughly. Even so, master, you grieve for yourself as though you had not achieved your purpose.
What it means
Vyasa had written the greatest works and still felt empty. Achievement and knowledge do not guarantee fulfilment. Noticing that inner gap honestly, instead of hiding it, is where real growth begins.हिंदी में अर्थ

व्यास ने महान ग्रंथ लिखे फिर भी भीतर खालीपन था। उपलब्धि और ज्ञान से संतोष की गारंटी नहीं मिलती। उस खालीपन को ईमानदारी से मानना ही असली विकास की शुरुआत है।
