tyaktva svadharmam charanambujam harer bhajann apakvotha patet tato yadi
yatra kva v-abhadram abhood amushya kim ko v-artha aptobhajatam svadharmatah
त्यक्त्वा स्वधर्मं चरणाम्बुजं हरेर्भजन्नपक्वोऽथ पतेत्ततो यदि।
यत्र क्व वाभद्रमभूदमुष्य किं को वार्थ आप्तोऽभजतां स्वधर्मतः॥
If someone gives up their usual duties to worship the Lord's feet and then falls before maturing, what harm has come to them? And what has anyone gained by sticking to duty without devotion?
What it means
Sincere effort toward the highest is never wasted, even if you stumble. Playing safe without heart gains little. It is better to try for what truly matters and fall than never to begin.हिंदी में अर्थ

सर्वोच्च की ओर किया गया सच्चा प्रयास कभी बेकार नहीं जाता, चाहे ठोकर लगे। दिल के बिना सुरक्षित खेलने से कम मिलता है। असली चीज़ के लिए कोशिश करना बेहतर है।
