Srimad Bhagavatam 1.5.14 meaning

tatonyatha kinchana yad vivakshatah prithagdrishas tatkritaroopanamabhih na karhichit kv-api cha duhsthita matir labheta vatahatanaur iv-aspadam

Whoever tries to say anything else, seeing the world as separate names and forms, will never find a resting place for the mind. It stays restless, like a boat tossed by the wind.

What it means
A mind with no anchor drifts with every gust of opinion and desire. Narada's image of the wind-tossed boat is a reminder to find one steady centre that keeps you upright in rough weather.

Spoken by Narada.
