Srimad Bhagavatam 1.5.18 meaning
tasy-aiva hetoh prayateta kovido na labhyate yad bhramatam upary adhah
tal labhyate duhkhavad anyatah sukham kalena sarvatra gabheeraranhasa
तस्यैव हेतोः प्रयतेत कोविदो न लभ्यते यद्भ्रमतामुपर्यधः।
तल्लभ्यते दुःखवदन्यतः सुखं कालेन सर्वत्र गभीररंहसा॥
A wise person should strive only for what cannot be gained by wandering up and down through the worlds. Worldly happiness, like sorrow, comes on its own in time, carried by the deep force of time.

सुख-दुख अपने समय पर आते ही हैं, चाहे आप उनके पीछे भागें या नहीं। इसलिए अपनी सबसे अच्छी ऊर्जा उसमें लगाइए जो अपने आप नहीं मिलता: ज्ञान, चरित्र, शांति और प्रेम।
