Srimad Bhagavatam 1.19.16 meaning
punash cha bhooyad bhagavaty anante ratih prasangash cha tadashrayeshu
mahatsu yam yam upayami srishtim maitry astu sarvatra namo dvijebhyah
पुनश्च भूयाद्भगवत्यनन्ते रतिः प्रसङ्गश्च तदाश्रयेषु।
महत्सु यां यामुपयामि सृष्टिं मैत्र्यस्तु सर्वत्र नमो द्विजेभ्यः॥
In whatever birth I go to, may I always have love for the infinite Lord, the company of those who take refuge in him, and friendship toward all beings. I bow to the sages.
What it means
Facing death, Parikshit asks for no riches, only love, good company and friendliness toward everyone. A beautiful wish to carry anywhere: may I be kind wherever life takes me.हिंदी में अर्थ
मैं जिस भी जन्म में जाऊँ, मुझमें अनंत भगवान के प्रति प्रेम हो, उनके आश्रितों का संग मिले और सब प्राणियों से मित्रता रहे। ब्राह्मणों को नमस्कार।
मृत्यु के सामने परीक्षित धन नहीं, बस प्रेम, अच्छी संगति और सबसे मित्रता माँगते हैं। एक सुंदर इच्छा: जीवन जहाँ भी ले जाए, मैं दयालु रहूँ।
