Srimad Bhagavatam 1.17.10 meaning
yasya rashtre prajah sarvas trasyante sadhvy asadhubhih
tasya mattasya nashyanti keertir ayur bhago gatih
यस्य राष्ट्रे प्रजाः सर्वास्त्रस्यन्ते साध्व्यसाधुभिः।
तस्य मत्तस्य नश्यन्ति कीर्तिरायुर्भगो गतिः॥
In a kingdom where all citizens live in fear of wicked people, the careless ruler loses his fame, his lifespan, his fortune and his future.
What it means
Leadership is judged by whether ordinary people feel safe. Any boss, parent or official who ignores bullying under their watch slowly loses respect and trust, whatever their title.हिंदी में अर्थ
जिस राज्य में सारी प्रजा दुष्टों से डरी रहती है, उस लापरवाह राजा की कीर्ति, आयु, भाग्य और परलोक सब नष्ट हो जाते हैं।
नेतृत्व की परख इससे होती है कि आम लोग सुरक्षित महसूस करते हैं या नहीं। जो भी अधिकारी, अभिभावक या मालिक अन्याय को अनदेखा करता है, वह धीरे-धीरे सम्मान और भरोसा खो देता है।
