Srimad Bhagavatam 1.1.10 meaning

prayenalpayushah sabhya kalav asmin yuge janah mandah sumandamatayo mandabhagya hy-upadrutah

In this age of Kali, people mostly live short lives. They are slow, easily misled, unlucky, and constantly troubled by one thing or another.

What it means
The sages describe a restless, distracted world that feels very familiar. Short attention, constant worry, little time. Naming the problem honestly is the first step toward choosing what deserves your limited time.
