Bhagavad Gita 9.11 meaning
avajananti mam moodha manusheem tanum ashritam
param bhavam ajananto mama bhootamaheshvaram
Foolish people look down on me when I take a human form, not knowing my higher nature as the great Lord of all beings.
What it means
We often judge by appearances and miss what's truly great. The sacred can show up in ordinary forms—a person, a moment, a simple act. Look deeper before you dismiss. How it helps in real life
- At work: Ignoring the quiet security guard who's always there? Talk to him today; you may find wisdom in the most ordinary places.
- With family: Dismissing your father's simple advice as old-fashioned? Listen fully next time; there may be deep wisdom in plain words.
Spoken by Krishna.
