Bhagavad Gita 8.4 meaning
adhibhootam ksharo bhavah purushash chadhidaivatam
adhiyajnoham evatra dehe dehabhritam vara
Best of embodied beings, the perishable world is called the material realm; the cosmic being is the divine realm; and I myself, present here within the body, am the lord of sacrifice.
What it means
Everything physical changes and fades. Yet Krishna says the divine lives right inside the body, not far away. You do not have to search somewhere distant; what you seek is already present within you.How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Planning a costly spiritual trip to find peace? Before booking, sit quietly at home for ten minutes daily for a week.
- When you feel alone: Far from your hometown temple and feeling spiritually lost? Place a hand on your heart, close your eyes, and pray right where you are.
Spoken by Krishna.
