Bhagavad Gita 8.16 meaning
abrahmabhuvanal lokah punaravartinorjuna
mam upetya tu kaunteya punarjanma na vidyate
Arjuna, all worlds, up to the realm of Brahma, are subject to return. But, son of Kunti, after reaching me there is no rebirth.
What it means
Even the highest heavens are temporary stops. Every achievement, no matter how great, eventually ends. Only a connection with the eternal gives a rest that does not run out.How it helps in real life
- When you succeed: Just won the industry award and planning the next one already? Enjoy it, then spend some time on what truly lasts, like family.
- At work: Chasing VP title thinking it'll finally bring rest? Notice every peak has another; take a real holiday this year anyway.
Spoken by Krishna.
