Bhagavad Gita 8.15 meaning

mam upetya punarjanma duhkhalayam ashashvatam napnuvanti mahatmanah sansiddhim paramam gatah

Having reached me, great souls who have attained the highest perfection are not born again into this temporary world, which is a home of suffering.

What it means
Krishna calls this world temporary and full of pain, and says there is a peace beyond it. That is not a reason to despise life, but a reminder not to place all our hopes in things that fade.

How it helps in real life

Spoken by Krishna.
