avyaktam vyaktim apannam manyante mam abuddhayah
param bhavam ajananto mamavyayam anuttamam
Those lacking understanding think that I, the unmanifest, have simply taken on a visible form. They do not know my higher nature, which is unchanging and supreme.
What it means
We often judge by appearances, seeing only the surface. The deepest reality, in people and in the divine, is far larger than what the eyes can see.How it helps in real life
- At work: Dismissing the quiet new joinee as unimpressive? Spend fifteen minutes over coffee learning what they're really capable of.
- In love & marriage: Judging a potential match only by their profile photo? Have one real conversation before deciding; people are far deeper than pictures.
Spoken by Krishna.
