Bhagavad Gita 6.6 meaning

bandhur atmatmanas tasya yen-atm-aiv-atmana jitah anatmanas tu shatrutve vartet-atm-aiva shatruvat

For the one who has mastered themselves, their own self is a friend. But for one who has not, that same self behaves like a hostile enemy.

What it means
An untrained mind sabotages you with doubt, laziness and bad habits. A trained mind becomes your strongest ally. Self-discipline is really just making friends with yourself.

Spoken by Krishna.
