Bhagavad Gita · Dhyana Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 6.16 meaning
naty-ashnatas tu yogosti na chaikantam anashnatah
na chatisvapnasheelasya jagrato naiva charjuna
Arjuna, yoga is not for someone who eats too much or who starves completely, nor for someone who sleeps too much or who stays awake too long.
What it means
Extremes wear you out. Overeating, crash dieting, oversleeping or pulling all-nighters all disturb the mind. Balance in daily habits is the quiet foundation of inner growth. How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Crash dieting before a wedding, then bingeing after? Eat normal, balanced meals this month and skip the extreme plans.
- Studies & exams: Pulling all-nighters before every exam? Sleep seven hours tonight; a rested mind remembers more than a tired one.
Spoken by Krishna.
