Bhagavad Gita 6.13 meaning
samam kayashirogreevam dharayann achalam sthirah
samprekshya nasikagram svam dishash chanavalokayan
Holding the body, head and neck straight and still, steady, gaze softly at the tip of your nose without looking around in any direction.
What it means
A still body helps create a still mind. Sitting upright and keeping the eyes from wandering stops the attention from leaking outward with every sound and movement. How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Slouched over your laptop all day with a stiff neck? Sit upright, align head and neck, and take five slow breaths every hour.
- Studies & exams: Mind darting at every sound while studying in a hostel? Sit straight, soften your gaze on one point for a minute, then begin.
Spoken by Krishna.
