Bhagavad Gita 5.16 meaning
jnanena tu tad ajnanam yesham nashitam atmanah
tesham adityavaj jnanam prakashayati tat param
But for those whose ignorance is destroyed by knowledge of the self, that knowledge lights up the Supreme like the sun.
What it means
When the sun rises, darkness simply disappears; you do not have to fight it. Self-understanding works the same way. Let clarity dawn, and the highest truth becomes as plain as daylight. How it helps in real life
- Studies & exams: Fighting a confusing physics chapter for hours? Stop forcing it; watch one clear explanation, and let understanding dawn on its own.
- Every day: Wake up with a heavy mind? Open the curtains, stand in sunlight for two minutes, and let the fog lift without arguing with it.
Spoken by Krishna.
