Bhagavad Gita 5.15 meaning
nadatte kasyachit papam na ch-aiva sukritam vibhuh
ajnanen-avritam jnanam tena muhyanti jantavah
The all-pervading Lord takes on no one's sin and no one's good deeds. Knowledge is covered by ignorance, and that is why beings are confused.
What it means
Our confusion does not come from the divine but from a veil of ignorance over our understanding. Clarity is already there, just hidden. Removing that cover, not bargaining with God, is what helps.
Spoken by Krishna.
