Bhagavad Gita · Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 5.13 meaning
sarvakarmani manasa sannyasy-aste sukham vashee
navadvare pure dehee naiva kurvan na karayan
Having mentally let go of all actions, the self-controlled embodied soul rests happily in the city of nine gates, neither acting nor causing action.
What it means
The body is like a city with nine gates, and you are its quiet resident, not its frantic manager. Letting go inwardly allows you to live in your body with ease and calm. How it helps in real life
- Health & body: Body tense after a twelve-hour shift? Lie down, scan from head to toe, and let each part relax for five minutes.
- When you are worried: Mind racing at 2am about tomorrow's to-do list? Write it down, close the notebook, and rest as the quiet resident, not the manager.
Spoken by Krishna.
