Bhagavad Gita 5.12 meaning
yuktah karmaphalam tyaktva shantim apnoti naishthikeem
ayuktah kamakarena phale sakto nibadhyate
The steady person, giving up the fruit of action, reaches lasting peace. The unsteady person, driven by desire and attached to results, stays bound.
What it means
Two people can do the same job. One is calm because they give their best and let go; the other is anxious because everything rides on the outcome. Peace depends on that inner difference.
Spoken by Krishna.
