atmasanyama-yogagnau juhvati jnanadeepite
Others offer all the workings of the senses and of the breath into the fire of self-mastery, lit by wisdom.
What it means
Here the sacrifice is inward: quieting the senses and even the breath through understanding. Meditation is not escape but a deep offering, where awareness itself becomes the fire that steadies you.How it helps in real life
- When you are angry: Your blood boils in a heated family argument? Excuse yourself, sit in another room, and watch your breath for two minutes.
- Every day: Senses overloaded by the commute and notifications? Sit quietly for five minutes before work and let your attention settle inward.
Spoken by Krishna.
