vivasvan manave praha manur ikshvakavebraveet
Krishna said: I taught this timeless yoga to Vivasvan, the Sun. Vivasvan passed it on to Manu, and Manu gave it to King Ikshvaku.
What it means
Krishna opens by showing that this teaching is not new or invented for the moment. It is old wisdom, handed carefully from teacher to student. What has guided people for ages can guide you too.How it helps in real life
- With family: Your grandmother's way of making pickles is fading. Spend a Sunday with her, record the steps, and learn it hands-on.
- Big decisions: Unsure about a big life choice? Ask an elder who has walked that road before, and listen to their story fully.
Spoken by Krishna.
