Bhagavad Gita · Jnana Karma Sannyasa Yoga
Bhagavad Gita 4.2 meaning
evam parampara-praptam imam rajarshayo viduh
sa kaleneha mahata yogo nashtah parantapa
Passed down in this way from one to the next, the royal sages understood it. But over a long stretch of time, Arjuna, this yoga was lost to the world.
What it means
Even the deepest wisdom fades when people stop living it. Knowledge needs keepers who practise it, not just remember it. What we do not use, we slowly lose, in families, cultures and our own lives. How it helps in real life
- As a parent: Your kids in New Jersey don't know any Diwali rituals. Do the puja together this year and let them light the diyas.
- Health & body: Learned yoga years ago but stopped practising? Unroll the mat tomorrow morning for just ten minutes before it fades completely.
Spoken by Krishna.
