Bhagavad Gita 3.27 meaning
prakriteh kriyamanani gunaih karmani sarvashah
ahankara-vimoodhatma kartaham iti manyate
All actions are carried out by the qualities of nature. But a person confused by ego thinks, 'I am the doer.'
What it means
So much shapes our results—our body, upbringing, timing, other people. Thinking 'I did it all' feeds ego; thinking 'it all depends on me' feeds anxiety. Seeing the bigger picture brings humility. How it helps in real life
- When you succeed: Your startup raised funding and you're taking all the credit? Thank your team, your timing and your early users by name today.
- When you are worried: Feeling everything at home depends only on you? List the people and factors that also hold it together, and breathe.
Spoken by Krishna.
