Bhagavad Gita 3.28 meaning
tattvavit tu mahabaho gunakarma-vibhagayoh
guna guneshu vartanta iti matva na sajjate
But one who knows the truth about how qualities and actions work, mighty Arjuna, sees that it is only qualities acting on qualities, and stays unattached.
What it means
When you see your moods and reactions as natural patterns rather than your whole identity, you can step back from them. That little distance gives you calm and choice. How it helps in real life
- When you are angry: Snapping at everyone when hungry after a long day? Notice it's a mood, not you; eat something before any conversation.
- When you feel alone: Sunday evening blues hit again? Tell yourself it's a passing pattern, step back, and make a simple plan for Monday morning.
Spoken by Krishna.
