Bhagavad Gita 3.13 meaning
yajnashishtashinah santo muchyante sarvakilbishaih
bhunjate te tv-agham papa ye pachanty-atmakaranat
Good people who eat what remains after an offering are freed from all wrongs. But those who cook only for themselves are eating sin itself.
What it means
Sharing first and taking after changes how we live. Living only for ourselves slowly hollows us out. Make space for others in what you earn and eat; it keeps your heart clean.
Spoken by Krishna.
