Bhagavad Gita 3.12 meaning

ishtan bhogan hi vo deva dasyante yajnabhavitah tair dattan apraday-aibhyo yo bhunkte stena eva sah

Pleased by your offerings, the gods will give you the good things you desire. But whoever enjoys their gifts without offering anything back is simply a thief.

What it means
Everything we enjoy—food, air, skills, support—came from somewhere. Taking it all without giving anything back is a quiet kind of stealing. Gratitude shows up as contribution, not just words.

Spoken by Krishna.
