Bhagavad Gita 2.9 meaning
evam uktva hrisheekesham gudakeshah parantapa
na yotsya iti govindam uktva tooshneem babhoova ha
Sanjaya said: Having spoken this way to Krishna, Arjuna, the mighty warrior, declared, 'I will not fight,' and fell silent.
What it means
Arjuna reaches a dead end and shuts down. We all have moments where we say 'I can't' and go quiet. Silence after a breakdown can also be the space where real listening begins. How it helps in real life
- After a setback: After the third visa rejection you say 'I'm done' and go quiet. Let the silence be; tomorrow, call one person who understands.
- Big decisions: Stuck saying 'I can't choose' between two job offers? Stop arguing in your head for a day and ask a mentor to just listen.
Spoken by Sanjaya.
