Bhagavad Gita 2.7 meaning

karpanyadosh-opahatasvabhavah prichchami tvam dharmasammoodhachetah yach chreyah syan nishchitam broohi tan me shishyas teham shadhi mam tvam prapannam

My nature is overpowered by weakness and my mind is confused about what is right. I ask you: tell me clearly what is truly good for me. I am your student; I come to you for refuge. Guide me.

What it means
This is the turning point: Arjuna admits he does not know and asks for help. Real learning starts when we drop the pretence of having all the answers and sincerely ask someone wiser.

Spoken by Arjuna.
