Bhagavad Gita 2.61 meaning

tani sarvani sanyamya yukta aseeta matparah vashe hi yasy-endriyani tasya prajna pratishthita

Bringing all the senses under control, one should sit focused, with me as the highest goal. One whose senses are under control has steady wisdom.

What it means
Self-control is easier with a higher focus to turn towards. Krishna offers himself as that anchor. With a meaningful centre, discipline feels less like struggle and more like coming home.

Spoken by Krishna.
