Bhagavad Gita 2.25 meaning
avyaktoyam achintyoyam avikaryoyam uchyate
tasmad evam viditv-ainam nanushochitum arhasi
The soul is said to be unseen, beyond thought and unchanging. Knowing it to be like this, you should not grieve.
What it means
Some truths cannot be grasped by the thinking mind, only realised. Understanding that our essence never changes is meant to loosen grief, not deny it.How it helps in real life
- In grief: Overthinking why your friend died so young? Some things can't be solved by thinking. Stop searching tonight and just remember them kindly.
- When you feel alone: Grieving alone abroad, far from family rituals? Sit quietly, light an agarbatti, and let yourself feel connected to what never changes.
