What it means
Our true self is steady like a mountain while life moves around it like weather. In anxious times, returning to that still centre can help us feel grounded again. How it helps in real life
- When you are worried: Waiting on H-1B lottery results and your stomach is in knots? Sit still for five minutes, feel your breath, and find that steady centre.
- Every day: Before opening your laptop, sit for two minutes and picture yourself as a mountain. Let the day's weather move around you.
Spoken by Krishna.
