Bhagavad Gita 2.26 meaning
atha chainam nityajatam nityam va manyase mritam
tathapi tvam mahabaho naivam shochitum arhasi
And even if you think the soul is constantly born and constantly dies, mighty Arjuna, you still should not grieve like this.
What it means
Krishna meets Arjuna on any ground: even from a purely worldly view, endless grief does not help. Whatever we believe about life and death, there is a reason to keep going. How it helps in real life
- In grief: Months after losing your mother, you still can't get out of bed. Whatever you believe, she'd want you to eat, shower and step outside today.
- In love & marriage: Stuck mourning a breakup for a year? Whether it was destiny or not, endless sadness won't help. Book one plan with friends this weekend.
Spoken by Krishna.
